I have been thinking about my musical tastes alot lately and frankly I am confused and wish I could understand why I like what I do. My musical tastes are... annoyingly ecclectic? I will go from listening to a CD that has Slipknot, Mastodon, Dragonforce, and Pantera on it to one that has Regina Spektor, A Fine Frenzy, and Postal service. It gets worse as well cause then ill start listening to some rap or switch to ska. The worst part is that I don't like a genre, I can't just listen to ska, I can listen to like 4 specific bands and the rest doesn't do anything for me, its the same for almost every Genre of music. Its actually annoying because it makes looking for new music a pain. Not too mention going to shows is tough because how do I know if I am gonna enjoy random local band, sure they are a certain Genre but..... meh this seems kinda ridiculous probably but its really annoying.
