Not alot of people know this apparently. But if you want to get the most caffeine from your coffee. You'll automatically pick out the medium roast or darkest roast. Am I right?!
Infact Dark Roast has the least amount of caffeine in it. Yes... You heard me right. You want light roast, if you want the most caffeine in your coffee.
There are 3 pops in the roasting process.
1st pop- Most caffeine= Light roast.
2nd pop- Medium caffeine.
3rd pop- least amount of caffeine. Dark roast.
Decaf- Is where they take that dark roast beans (least amount of caffeine) and set them in water for a couple of adays, it dilutes the caffeine completely from the coffee beans.
Star bucks, uses the process of cooking the beans almost past the 3rd pop, to almost burnt. It's to get a consistant taste. So accentually when you get Starbucks, you're getting the least amount of caffeine in coffee.
