My back was hurting last night. I was tossing and turning and around 6 AM I had a dream that I was awoken from. But a really good dream. Linear and compelling, like a movie, which for me is rare. My dreams are always complete nonsense. So I woke up and decided to write it down. I ended up writing it down in the form of a movie treatment which is now about 2/3 done, if you can believe it. It's a very cheesy, cliche-ridden story. But I think marketable if I can tweak the treatment just right and fill it in with the requisite story arcs, plotpoints, and cliches. I have never written a treatment or a screenplay before, but this thing, thanks to my dream, and to my endless consumption of bad Hollywood trash, is practically writing itself.

Most good movies start out as dreams. I wrote a two part story based on a couple of really fucked up dreams I had about me being in hell. The few people I let read it, thought it was the weirdest most sick thing they've ever read. Oh well what can you do?
