Hoooo boy. New Year's resolutions. I've always kind of looked down on the idea; why try to better yourself just because the calendar rest? You should always strive to be the best you that you can be. That being said, here are some things I personally would like to work on.
• Not letting negative people/things get to me so much. There are a ton of shitty people and situations in my life, and that's not likely to change any time soon, but one thing I CAN do is get better at shaking it off. Maybe T-Swift can help me with that.
• Do more photoshoots. I only shot one set last year, which isn't terrible since I've only been at this since September, but I'm aiming for 3 shoots/sets this year. Hopefully I can figure out what I want to do with them each and actually do something.
• Eat healthier. For a vegetarian, I actually eat kinda bad. Lots of junk. I think meal planning might help. Also my crockpot.
• Learn to love all of me. I've made amazing strides with this, but there are still bits and pieces that get to me. I'll get there.
• Stop. Stressing. About. The wedding. It's gonna happen, I'm gonna make it happen, and I need to stop worrying about funds and how-tos and what-ifs.
• Be a better partner to my fiancé. I have a tendency to steamroll and take control of everything and also to shut down completely when I get angry. I need to work on letting him take the reigns occasionally, and on working through things WITH him instead of just secluding myself until I get past stuff.
• Take a family vacation. We didn't do one last year.
• Read more. I read more in 2014 than I did in 2013, so hopefully I can keep that up this year.
Hope all of you had a safe and happy new year, and I wish you luck with your own resolutions!

I like the resolutions. It should definitely be a top priority to minimize or eliminate negative things from your life. Once you start that, it will be a ton easier to love yourself. Also, crockpot cooking makes it so easy to eat healthy. I've been cooking that way for almost two years and I lost 60 pounds pretty quickly. Happy new year and take care! :)
