yes, i know it's probably annoying making self-analyzing journal entries all the time, but in fact this is a turning point for me, because i've never cared enough to actually try and examine myself and figure out why i want all the things i do, and to realize that my perceived wants/needs may be coming from an unhealthy place.

still not sure one way or another about it, but it was at least a progression of thought i suppose. thank you for the advice.
