Requested appointment with boss to ask for permanent parttime-contract and show commitment to work, but alas..
Just as about 20 other colleagues in our store, my contract will be discontinued..
After October 22nd I'll be unemployed.
Because I'm not ambitious enough, appearantly - or, in reality, because I cost too much and all grocery-stores are in some kind of stupid price war and all employees have to pay for it.
It's bullshit anyway, because they knew when they hired me, I only wanted the job as a parttimer so I could make money AND still focus on school.
I'm not sad, really, cuz I saw it coming for ages and well.. that's life.
I'll just have to fix the problem now, I guess...allready applied for a couple of jobs and changed my ressume just now. Keep yer fingers crossed for me, yeah?
