I made the mistake of introducing my brother to Weird Al's parody "White and Nerdy"... and now it's his new obsession. He about drove me crazy last night until I got the music video for him to watch. Yes, I get excited about new music, and I might listen to a new track over and over for a few days... but every other phrase coming out of my mouth isn't the song title. Good God. 
However, as a person who collected X-men comics, goes to Renaissance fairs on occasion, and has way too much fun with bubble wrap (although it's not a fetish) I did find the parody quite funny.
Been working a helluva lot and reading voraciously in my free time, I think I've read at least 12 new books in the last two weeks- most of them I finished the same day I got them. Although they weren't Harry Potter, they weren't small books. I found a vampire series written by J.R. Ward that I love. I'm on a new health kick... trying to eat better, drinking less caffeine, taking vitamins. Maybe if I add working out to that, I might get something going there.
I've also been getting a case of cabin fever. I'm going to dinner tonight with a guy I met at work... not necessarily hoping that it'll go anywhere. It'll be great to be out of uniform and having some fun for a change.
