I haven't had anything to eat today, and I've been up since 7:30. I've been resetting the modem (5x), fiddling with ethernet cords, talking with Tech Support, following around the Technician they sent like a lost puppy while he figured out what the hell the deal was, panicking because of the possibility I'd have to replace my computer
(turned out my computer was NOT the problem), and finally chucking the fried wireless router, and testing for fried ethernet cords and connections... on 3 1/2 hours of sleep. My roommate's on reconstruction duty, I've put in a full day. I'm tired, I'm hungry, I'm cranky.
On a better note, we're up and running again, and pet-sitting an absolutely adorable chihuahua/terrier mix puppy. Bouncy, wiggly, squeaking cuteness!
I'm taking a nap.

it definately saves me from having to call a tech and follow him around like a puppy the way I do when the electricians and cable people show up...
Of course, a puppy also helps with the crankiness. I guess it could help with the hunger too, if you got really desperate.
Glad you got your computer fixed. Now we can talk again.
Hope you had a nice nap.
