Geez, I have seen these jerks all over the internet of late, and I'm getting sick of it.
Stages of an internet debate:
Stage one: The Superiority Complex-
Ah, silly mortal, you hold an opinion differing from mine. Poor misguided soul, allow me to dazzle you with my superior intellect and reasoning skills...
Stage two: Condescension-

Word my dear friend! Word. Now that I'm back on here for awhile, I hope you will be too.

Hey, just popped on for the first time in ages today. Life has kept me quite busy of late. Glad to see you are back!
Only two more months to go until our little one will be with us. I'm excited and anxious. I'm healthy, and so is the baby- such a blessing. I'm still working a lot, and beginning to get overwhelmed. So much to do, so little time. I'm also praying the birth goes smoothly. Until then, there is a lot to prepare for, a lot to think...

My work schedule has been brutal of late- this is the first of four days off (finally) for me, and my husband has given me strict orders to sleep all my little heart desires today. This is as he heads off to a twelve hour day at work himself. He takes such good care of me!
Why is peace of mind so elusive of late? I have enough to deal with right now with my pregnancy- why does my workplace have to be so toxic?
I had an "informal coaching" with my boss yesterday because I've been applying for lower management positions with the company. Apparantly, because I've had a write-up and a customer complaint in the last 5 years with...

Things get frustrating in life, but I've been trying to stay positive in the last few months.
Things I am thankful for:
My warm, loving, supportive hubby. I just adore him and couldn't imagine life without him.
My grandparents still being with us. They are two of the sweetest people I have ever known. They've had a lot of health scares lately- we are lucky...

So far tonight, i've stuffed myself with gouda cheese, microwave kettle corn, and now I am slow-roasting a leg of lamb roast with garlic and potatoes in the oven. I've never cooked lamb, or eaten it, for that matter, but it should be delicious.
I've decaffeinated for the New Year, and it is amazing how much better I've been sleeping. The job situation hasn't changed,...

Not sleeping worth crap lately. Part of it's my bizarre hours at work. Part of it's stress. Part of it's the fact that I've been trying not to depend so much on my sleeping pills, and let my prescription run out. Now I'm kicking myself for that last one. I'm beginning to get concerned, because the last time my insomnia was this bad, it was...

Sorry you're suffering. Hope that the meds will help.
And it really sucks that you're still having to work your horrible shift. You'd think they'd want to keep someone whose been with them for so long. Maybe it's just that the person responsible figures you can't afford to quit, and knowing how hard it would be to replace someone on your shift, takes advantage of you.

Sick and miserable. I should be in an exhausted sleep after my 14 hour workday yesterday. Instead I'm up and hacking up a lung. I'm scheduled for another 10 hours today... not seeing how that's going to happen when I'm sleep-deprived, feverish, and feel like death warmed over. May be time to go get a doctor's excuse and tell work to shove it for a...

Just got back from our honeymoon- the flights were nightmarish, but the stay in Weston, FL (Just 15 to 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale and Miami) was heavenly.
My Aunt was kind enough to let us stay at a resort using her timeshare. The suite had the feel of a really nice apartment instead of the sterile hotel feel. It came complete with a kitchen...

2 more months to go until I'm a Mrs. I'm starting to freak out.... Not that I'm anxious about marrying him, but it's a lot of stuff to do... and it's coming down to the wire!

I'm sure everything will work out. Just don't panic about things.
