This little girl entered my life crying her eyes out after being on death row in the very back room of a pound for 7 weeks. After living on the streets for unknown months before that. After being beaten and tortured and overbread by the family she lived with before she escaped. The day I met her she had just been spayed and was on drugs for the pain. She came up to me crying and unsure of where she was, laid her head on my leg, and fell asleep. I didn't move for 3 hours after as not to disturb her. For a long time after that if you walked toward her with anything in your hand, i.e a remote for the tv, she would cower and shake because she thought you were about to hit her with it. Before this I had a very bad impression of pitbulls because I was attacked by two of them when I was younger and had to fight them for my life literally. Went to the hospital for the rends in my leg and throat. This perfect lady restored my faith in one of the only American dogs we have. She is the kindest soul I have ever met, and my very dearest friend. Since entering my home she has become a certified therapy dog in our state. It took nine hours of testing with people and other dogs to achieve, and she has brought much happiness to other people in rehab centers and retirement homes since. Help me make her the official SG puppy. She deserves it :)
