Just finished week 3 of this 10-week "tour" shooting MMA. Too bad I have to leave Austin today for San Antonio. I prefer my home in Washington, DC but Austin is a hell of a lot of fun!

I'm on the road for 10 weeks shooting mainly MMA shows. Just realized I have NINE to shoot next month! New Orleans, DC, Atlantic City, Milwaukee, Louisiville, Albuquerque....somewhere in there I'll sleep.

Facebook gets worse when you were a photographer "back in the day". Been scanning negatives from '86 and '87 of the DC hardcore punk scene so got flooded with e-mails from the "mom squad".

I've been bent on Dropkick Murphys for the last two albums. I ws planning on seeing them around home on this tour but was waiting to see if any photo assignment came up first. They are playing Baltimore but not D.C. (Heathens! Philistines!)

I am thinking a road trip would be fucking awesome. Just drive. No destination really. Just see things. Leave early Thursday night and not come back until the Sunday before I return to work. It would be great!
