I've been so sick and just bored with my job recently that I decided to start looking for a new one. I havent really been able to find anything out there, but then i get this call. A few months back I turned daown a position in my company cause they only offerd me salery and i wasnt interested. So anyway i get this call and the woman who would be my boss calls me and says she really wants me to take the position and it's hourly now. I tell her what I want an hour and she makes a call. I little bit later she calls me back and says they can do that. I am so excited all day. Then I get a call from HR and she says I dont think we are gonna be able to get you what you want! WTF and say tells me I dont think Bryan (my current boss) is gonna let you go right now! WTF again. I bust my ass for 3yrs and 2 months ago i was long over do for a raise but instead we took company wide PAY CUTS! I just don't get why someone would stop someone from moving up the later a little bit. I have an idea it has more to do with not wanting me to leave my current position but thats fucked up they dont want ot pay me for a supervisor position but they expect me to keep doing it, and when someone says they want to give me the money I deserve people slam the door in your face.
