Shocked and saddened to hear that Shamus is missing. When I was a kid our cat ran away after a move only to return six months later! One of our kittens died, the ginger one, so we have kept the sole survivor and named her Lucky. They have handled the move back to Sydney suprisingly well, especially considering the farm stop over!

By the way, your new profile pic is beautiful!

yeah - i think even though there'll be separation emotions at first, moving will be the bext idea in the long run

i'm more of a non-fiction girl too, which annoys me as i always see these novels i think would be a great idea to read but i just can never get into it the way i devour biographies

Shamus is missing. No sign of him being run over and he hasn't returned to his favourite sound of the food spoon clinking on the plate.

We got a kitten - Margaret - a girlfriend for him if he ever came home. She's a freaking vegetarian. Lentils and pumpkin being high on her must eat diet.

shit - in melbourne for a funeral for the weekend

renting a car feels so grown up....
jonnytrrrash7:
i'll bet that attending a funeral feels even more grown up. my condolences.
aaronsrod:
funerals suck, I went to the funeral of Celtic_Cyclops's wife last week and although it was a beautiful ceremony it was nevertheless far too early for her to go.
how have you been anyway mate it has been awhile.

Not good news but I think it's still manageable, damnit!

Joanna Newsom Tour Dates:
Jan 31 (Wed): A & I Hall - Bangalow
Feb 1 (Thu): The Tivoli - Brisbane

What do you reckon? I can go to either, but would love to see the Bangalow gig as it's bound to be a bit more intimate.

Fill up your mind with all it can know
Don't forget that your body will let it all go
Fill up your mind with all it can know
What would we be without wishful thinking

Chambers of chains
With red plastic mouths
The inside of outside
No one has found
How to unring the bell
It's just as well

The turntable sizzles
Casting the spells...
