So in the last week I had two mind altering/life changing things go straight past my eyes and into my sub-conscious. Okay first I HEART HUCKABEES! What a movie. In fact I need to add it to my list to the side of favourite movies. I can't even explain why I loved it - I guess I relate to the dialogue and we all like things that we see ourselves in.
The second is Sigur Ros. Okay - now I understand what I was really seeking in my live music. Again I'm lost for words on why it was so great - other than - it was awesome. I've decided my new career aspiration is Icelandic music gypsy. What do y'all think?
We spoke with the family in Michigan this morning - it's so strange talking in different seasons but nice to catch up.
We saw Land of the Dead - it was a bit of fun - but a bit too... video game storyline. You know - you can already see how it'd work. You chose your character - sexy brunette, sexy blonde or tough but sensitive guy or the arsehole guy - and then go on a shooting zombie adventure. The zombies were a bit sad though - like a bit to "erh erhh" and not enough "I want to eat your brains".
Umm.. I have no plans this week but JoJo is back - so I'm sure we'll get up to something. She loved NZ, they were staying in some ghetto part - but loved it.
And that's all the journal I can think of right now - how lame. So lame. Oh well catch y'all later.
