Okay update time...
I had one and a half days off work - sick? Yeah I felt like I was but I think I just needed some time in the house more than anything. And it was so nice to stay with Shamus all day! He's such a button of cuteness.
So I'm addicted to hot chocolate at the moment. And I keep trying different varieties but so far the swiss hot chocolate is the best. Hot chocolate was big thing for Andy growing up because he'd play for hours out in the snow building a snow fort and then his mom would make in a cup of chocolate when he came inside!
Speaking of snow - the reason I speak so much of moving back to the USA is because I miss the isolation. I couldn't handle it at first when I got there but now I miss it. I mean a couple of factors of my misery in the USA had to do with immigration - which were out of my control. And I wouldn't move back without the ability to work, because I'm the type of girl who needs a job (... to complain about hahahah) but to be free and experience a new thing nearly every day was refreshing. And I got to learn a lot about myself while there... It was very insightful.
Now I'm considering San Francisco - why? I think it might be the only place in the USA that has good chinese food. And living without a chinese or indian or japanese or thai or vietnamese resturant would probably kill me. I currently live between Ben's Chinese & Vietnamese and Surtaj - two of the best in Brisbane. And I only eat at Sushi train because it's the only sushi that doesn't make me sick. And I have a favourite thai place in milton.
I guess I could live anywhere and visit San Fran for good asian food... yeah, that's a good idea. And Lush products - that's the only city that has a Lush store.
You know how girls make a book for what they want their wedding to be like - and cut up magazines and add to it over years? I think I might do that for moving to the USA. I'll add all these good ideas to a book and then I'll feel like I'm achieving something toward it....
Moving right along. So.... I just bought tickets to the Blood Brothers and HORRORPOPS!!! Yay!! I like going to see bands - even if it costs a bit of money - there's just something special you get to leave with after a show... I think many people on this site would agree with that.
So lately I'm just babbling about the dreams of where I wish that I could be but I do understand that I have to be here for now - and that's okay too. I think I'll be happier in Brisbane when Andy and I get our own place together... it should be real nice.
Well hi-ho to work and all that. Bye!
