So what is up?
Went out last night - some American guy is married to Australian girl and wanted some immigration advice - which we helped as much as we could. He was an alright dude - from Florida and the ladies were in love with him last night... Oh drunkness.
I didn't drink that much - had three drinks over 4 hours - so I was pretty impressed with the holding back. It's hard on a Thursday - but I didn't want to be an asshole. My husband however - did drink very much and very quick - managed to have lost his wallet in half an hour of being there - we checked into the police and was served by the nicest - happiest cop. I know it's not cool to like police - but I can't help it - I think they do a great job and I've never had a bad situation with them. I like police.
Maybe I could make bumper stickers "Police are people too" ummm "Toot if you like Police" ..... no that wouldn't work at all.....
So, ran into Dave McCormack and his brother and Steven from Tripod at Rics last night. Brought back memories for me and they blinked to remember - which is okay, don't expect to be remembered on a drunk night. It was two years ago, Thursday night, Jo and I were out drinking and playing some Galaga on the table top - then turns around Steven from Tripod puts money down and plays a game the rest is blurry and history.
It's weird when you can revisit a moment like that. And what is with that Butterfingers guy? Is it me or he one of the sleaziest guys in the Valley? That's a big statement and I don't like to pass judgements and remain fair... but gosh.
We did run into Dan from the Night Crash and we talked My Disco - which is always a good conversation. Dan is such a sweetie - and he looks better everytime I see him.
Okay so that was my Thursday - I've been playing with my nokia fone and working at work real hard... I missed seeing everyone at the last hook-up specially sonofJah which is a bummer. I've been in and out of sickness and I really wanted to go bowling... I don't know what it is about bowling but I fucking love that game.

my funny thought - I was watching the news the other day and it had our winter temp 15-21 and then crossed over to where ever but I noted Chicago - in summer - temp was 16-22... oh that made me laugh on the inside!
