Okay so I watched 60 minutes interview with Brad Pitt last night. And I think it's awesome that he's all about awareness right now but something that I really get upset about is the pressure on the middle man to be giving up all this money to these world problems - which I have no issue with, I do it all, cancer, big issue, starving kids etc - but why do they get to live in theses awesome oversized homes while we're giving our last 5 dollars a week to these causes?
I just wish rather than bringing awareness that some answers are given - if you do this - if everyone did this - it would result in this. It's always felt like a problem that would be around as long as the dollar is - to have rich you have poor - that's how our balance has been created. Brad said that in 40 years that poverty could be abolished for these people - okay that's awesome - but how? What do we have to do?
Like that guy who's spoken out about the injust of China - does anyone want to follow up on that? No. Why? Because China makes everything and for cheap. Give them democracy like our nations and maybe the people won't want to receive their 16c pay a week anymore and maybe they'll want their children in schools rather than making gucci bags. And that would fuck up our economy.
Oh shit - when did I become political? I think it's travel and living in other parts of the world that did it to me... but oh well I'll keep giving my last $5 like everyone else waiting to hear a sollution that I can contribute to.
So what else? Well I wanted to check out the Night Crash at Metro Arts on Saturday - but didn't go. I didn't feel so well so I've spent the last 2 days in doors but now I'm going to go out into the city and look around, maybe read some books in Borders, and look at people and what they do... I've been playing some baulders gate ps2 game with Andy all weekend.. I know it's sooooo nerdy but it's fun to sit together and just play this game. At least it's not me watching non-sense on tv.
so turn on the light because it's night on the sun...
and that's all I got - a bit worn out after my political rant...

Yes indeed, travel as a business expense would be a fantastic way to live!
I used to see chinese tour groups come through with literally $3-400k US between a group of 20. all to be pissed away at the casino.
the way they get this cash is through paying 16c/hour and being connected to the political machine. which is really one and the same
