A new blurry pic of me - yay.
So last week was intense. I was in a training course for 4 days. It was self development kinda stuff - but for a workplace. It was nice and refreshing.
But this week I'm back at work - yay ... or not yay. I don't mind my job actually - it's easy and it's regular and it's well paid.
I missed going out last week and on the weekend although we did make it to Star Wars - what's the verdict everyone? Loved or hated it? I found it pretty scary and a little irritating. But it was the best out of the three - I give it that. Andy didn't end up wearing the helmut because we couldn't find one - I guess we weren't looking in the right places cause I see them all the time now.
So... oh that's right. A friend of mine tried out for Australian Idol on Saturday. Now that was a strange experience. Andrew G and Jimmy James were there to entertain and be beautiful. My sister and I uncovered many things like - Andrew G has no neck. Jimmy James isn't funny in the least. My friend made it through to see the executive producers and then they told her no. Which is cool, because it validated her talent but - she's not TV sellable idol material and there's nothing wrong with that. I don't like the idol process - in fact I think it's quite disgusting. The sucky people who we see on TV make it through 4 auditions before they get to filming and think that they have a chance. That's pretty poor behaviour for tv ratings. I didn't want my friend to do it but - hey some people have to do what they've got to do.
Well must go - get ready for work.
