So... haven't managed to say much.
I worked all weekend.
I went bowling on Friday night and was the only member in our team that got a strike. That was one proud moment. Andy on the other hand, hmm drinking and bowling wasn't such a good plan for him. It was good night - felt bad because I'd worked all day and was a little tired and off. But Jo, Ricky and Andy made up in colour.
Anyone watch Countdown Saturday night? Kept me up all night, a Molly interview with Devo in 1984. It was awesome.
I have a few days off now but I'm kinda numb from work. I get so pissed off selling Gucci and Dior sunglasses to people. Who would have thought that people really cared that much??? They're sunglasses - buy them or don't but please don't tell me what you think of labels because I just don't care.
I guess this era is working well for the retail industry. People are obsessed with cool and will pay a bit of money for it... Guys in pink shirts buying Dior sunglasses. We were in the Valley keeping tally of the guys in the pink shirts and it got up to 30 and we couldn't figure it out - why pink? Why so many guys? And then we realised its' part of that whole 80's revival, and miami vice flashed through our minds...
