lately I've been listening to the radio a lot. I'm enjoying it more than the news. i like information to be talked about and not to be so manipulated by pictures. I am a sucker for that - i get sucked into advertised products all the time - until Andy spells out "microspheres - what the fuck is microsphere technology anyways?" and I go "oh... I guess you're right. it sounds like I need it though"

Working a lot.
Applying for a car loan... waiting... waiting... I hate waiting and I just want to know. I think I'll get rejected - I'm always moving house and changing job - not what you'd call stable material.
Going to see my little Maurice play in support for the Red Paintings at the Zoo on Saturday. Oh I've been so nervous for him but very excited. I'll totally have to take pictures and then scrap book it.
Screaming children in stores. Okay now... Although I don't have children and am not pregnant - I just feel that if you have a child screaming at you 'Mommy I'm tired and I want to go home' for one hour in a workplace for other people and you continue to shop and ignore your other child who is running around bumping into dangerous things and getting squashed by frames - maybe you should shop when you husband/partner/sister/mother/grandmother/childcare centre can look after your freaking children!!!! Since working in retail - I don't care what it takes - I'm never shopping with children. I've stated this to the husband. He has taken an understanding/supportive stance on this.
I need to make dinner now...

oh and Shamus is being awesome but really bratty lately. He was in the middle of the road when there was traffic - I could have nearly died. Why do our babies grow up and do dangerous things?????

I'm super aware of my little guy when we're out and try to instill in him a sense of respect for other people's space and property. If he starts getting all crazy on us, we just take him straight home. i've worked in retail so long I'm not about to fuck up some other poor sod's day, cos I know just what it's like when it's done to me.

Loans?? You shouldn't have any worries...like Aaronsrod said, there's always someone who will give you money. They make so much more cash from people who aren't able to afford a loan or credit card than someone who can pay it off quickly. If they can lock you into a lifetime of merely paying off interest and always being in debt, they're happy.
