I’ve gotten requests from memebers to do a blog post about this hopeful so I thought she’d be the perfect candidate to get an interview with also!

As many of you may know, this is @amoxi!

She discovered SG through an old boyfriend who at that time had stacks of Playboy and Maxim Magazines in his apartment.

Amoxi stated, “I remember thinking, these girls are attractive, but where do the tattooed models go to get recognized? I somehow stumbled upon SG, and became a hopeful in 2008, at the age of 23.”

Amazing this babe has been here for 15 years and continues to grow and change with the site. Speaking of change, I got to dig into how her SG name came along.

Q: How’d you come up with your SG name?

A: My name, Amoxi was actually not my first name when I joined here. I changed it from Lorelei, shortly after I joined in 2008. People often ask, is it short for amoxicillin, and the answer is “Yes”. I’ve worked in healthcare since 2006, and amoxicillin is actually something I’m allergic to. So, I shortened it to Amoxi.

As a long term hopeful, I was very intrigued to know how shooting her first set went!

A: My first set, Breaks, I was a little nervous for. I had never posed nude in front of a camera, or ever taken any photos in the nude. I was sweaty, and my friend/roomie was cooking in the kitchen of our apartment, so a bit distracting!

(This is also an honorable mention favorite in which Amoxi says, “I couldn’t believe that it had over 1,000 likes in less than 24 hours. I just looked today, and it was over 2224 🧡. It was photographed at my friends house, my husband actually remodeled their kitchen ⚒️🧰. I knew I wanted a color scheme not typically seen in sets or a model's lingerie/outfit choice. Orange had all the properties of what I wanted this set to be about: enthusiasm, energy, and warmth. It also has deep, family ties to Harley Davidson and why I included that in there. (Don’t forget, it’s HD’s 120th Anniversary is this year 🇺🇸).”

“Pretty Little Bows was my favorite. It was my third set, shot at my friend's vintage style salon. I had an amazing photographer, Robby and my comfortability to let my creative side out was really evident in this set. The quality of the photos, and pin-up style of that set I think is still so amazing“

One last note from Amoxi: I think I’d like the SG community to know how appreciative & humbled I am at their outpouring of support & love for me. It started pretty early on in my return to SG, fans/followers/friends started calling themselves the “Amoxi Army”, it was really incredible seeing all their posts in the threads, blogs, tags, and fan art they created. There has been so many wonderful people rooting for me here, and I will never forget any of them. I’ve gained some amazing friends, and lifelong friendships here, and that has been the greatest thing of it all
