Luvamoose goes to the vet today and I am an emotional wreck.
She hates the vet. I have to muzzle her so she doesn't take a chunk out of the poor vet, and I feel like dirt for it. The waiting room is awful, because she was raised to believe she's the only dog in the world and the waiting room just blows her doggie mind. I will have to wrestle all 170-some pounds of her onto the scale, disturbing every other animal in the waiting room wrestling her around using muscles I forget about until I'm at the vet again
In other matters, "Robin Hood" was bleh. Wait for Netflix. "The Losers" was pretty good, at least entertaining.
I just saw "A Good Year," I highly, highly recommend it. Excellent music as well. You'll want a Chateau in Provance. Also, Archie Punjabi is gorgeous.
I also sat and watched "Always" from way back when Steven Spielburg could find his ass with both hands, a map, and a flashlight. This is a great movie. You just want to take Holly Hunter home with you.
And I found a real gem in John Ford's original "Stagecoach." This is the movie that made John Wayne. Suprisingly, it has aged amazingly well. Like all great Westerns it has deeper themes than cowbodys vs. indians, and the John Ford cinematography delivers. Still. Maybe more today.
Can you tell I've been a real slacker lately?

Addendem: Luvamoose and I survived the vet. No vets were injured and Moose is now out cold on puppy drugs. She got back in the house and kinda listed 15 degrees to port and then 30 to starboard and then just collapsed. The vet said "she may be a little sleepy." I wasn't sure she was breathing. She's sleeping like a little puppy.
That lil trip cost about at buck fifty between the two litre bottle of vaccine a dog her size requires and the fast food reward on the way home. Whatyagonnado, right? She's my baby.

melladoree:
I tried that once and they did not open the door. Also my bathroom ceiling came down one day and she would not answer the door then either. Thus I called the manager about all the noise, and he has checked the apartment out but I have no idea what it going on and the noise persists. It's strange
