Man, I'm playing through Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on my PC.
The emulation is perfect and the game looks so much sharper utilizing my graphics card and higher resolution.. etc. There are parts that still frusterate the shit out of me.. like no matter how many times I play through the palaces when you're grown up... I always spend like a day in each trying to figure them out. The story and presentation are great though (I do get kinda misty eyed at parts...).. it's really one of the best Zelda games I've ever played (one of the best console games I've ever played too). It's like one of the only reasons (aside from Goldeneye) to own a N-64. Fortunately, through the majik of modern emulation I can save about $40.
P.S.: Majora's Mask is like the worst Zelda game (barring the awful Phillips CD-I Wand of Gamelon shit) I've ever played. Majora's Mask is strictly for pussies, CHUMP!
Man, what a relaxing Friday. Playing Zelda 64, watching The Soup, Best Week Ever.. and now VH1 is showing Austin Powers... all this and I'm finishing off my bottle of Blue Raspberry Mad dog 20/20, which I bought at my old job at the VP a week ago cause I'd never had Maddog before.
Wah-hooo... heh now all I need are some Peach Optimos... lol.
Oh sweet! It's past midnight! I can play the doors at Bobo's BBS AGAIN!!!
Yes, I realize that this entry makes me a huge nerd.. like Teh Nerd...
but.. that's what I'm all about. Anyone reading my journal for any period of time knows this.
