My mother is from Iran. I used to go yearly there and I even though I live and I am an American citizen. I consider myself and Iranian American, or American Iranian.
The youth of Iran are standing up to a corrupt regime and even though they don't demand regime change, but that their voices be heard innocent protesters like this girl are getting beaten and killed.
My cousin got a baton hit over his head. Many of his friend have been gassed.
The protesters need the world's support so they don't get crushed by the crack down by the regime.
The girl in this video is Neda and one of the men holding her is her father. You can hear a guy yelling "don't die" in farsi.
What a tragedy.
