Randomness:
Two weeks ago my oldest cat Tammy passed away. She just turned 20. This was a long time coming. After going deaf a few years ago, she had been completely fine. Then within the last year or so she began losing a lot of weight, and then did a poorer job bathing herself. The vets then found a small growth somewhere below her tongue, but not inside her mouth. My aunt and uncle decided to not do expensive surgery on a then 19 year old cat, and instead got some medication for her, which did seem to help. For a bit.
The day after I last saw her she stopped eating. My uncle began force feeding her with a spoon until they could get a vet appointment. They gassed her so the vet could poke around in her mouth, without her slaughtering the staff, and the growth had broke through inside her mouth, actually pushing her tongue sort of out of the way. Apparently she stopped eating because it was extremely painful, which could have explained her weight loss.
My aunt and uncle made the decision to put her to sleep.
So, now that Tammy is gone, both of my cats that I grew up with (we got Tammy when I was 4 and Kitty when I was 9) have passed away. It's... pretty shitty.
That's it for the bad news. Now on to the good news.
I finally got a damn haircut. I no longer need to worry about starting to look like a hipster, and that's all I'm saying. Though in slightly bad news that doesn't really affect me, my usual haircutter has breast cancer. Weird.
A coworker of mine who has started to get into some web design is going to pay for some consulting and editing services of mine. Thank Jesus. I'm at negative eighty dollars in my bank account right now. Also I got paid today, so that helps, too. The stimulus package that cannot come soon enough will also help, but that won't be until mid-June.
And the final good news: Turns out DynDNS can redirect my old URL to any other web address. I'm probably gonna finish one of my website designs and have everything on my .Mac account. I'll have to stick with static pages and manual edits, but that's better than nothing. I hope to have that up and running end of the week. The design works perfectly so far in Safari 2 and Firefox 3. Firefox 2 and IE 7 are most of the way there. I haven't tested IE 6, and probably won't. If I do, it'll just be for laughs. I won't bother fixing it when it destroys parallel universes.
And the no comment news: Ember is visiting home in upstate New York till Monday. Yesterday I made the worst hamburger ever. I need to make some weekend plans before I get too bored.

Stupid pets need to have human-length lifespans, damn it.
And in response to your hair cut news, way to be vague. Jeez.
