22ish hours left of 2007. Man, that went by fast.
I've spent the past couple days doing some web design work for myself. It's a lot of fun using new CSS 3 styles. It's a shame that it would take hours (and weeks) to back port these for other browsers. You know... Internet Explorer...
And now that I've done some light testing, seems like Firefox 2.0.0.10 can't handle the power either.
Styles I need to have supported to make my life easier:
display: inline-block, -webkit-border-radius (or, you know, whatever it'll be without proprietary prefixes), text-shadow, ... That may be it, but dammit, the combinations of those with other standard styles is just incredible.
I'm a very big fan of designing layouts that can grow/shrink to accommodate changes in text sizes. Far too many websites break down when bumping the text sizes up a notch or two in Safari. Ahem, this very same website you're reading this on gets destroyed, mangled, and clipped when increasing the size. Which is a shame.
Anyway. It's bed time.
