I've been playing Metroid Prime 3 a lot lately (thank you, Ember!). I picked up Wii Play today while helping Ember shop for some business-type clothes (she has an internship meeting this week). So we rocked out on that for a bit today. I still have Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam still shrink wrapped; I was forced to buy it because f.y.e required two games with the console. I've given up on Red Steel because I hate the controls and I tend to get headaches after playing for 10-15 minutes. And I still haven't beaten Super Paper Mario yet. Not to mention I haven't started Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door (Gamecube) (from Target because it was only $15).
After I get tired of MP3 (and playing it again on a harder difficulty... I am disappointed at how easy the Normal difficulty is; I should have died at least a couple times by now, but I haven't died once and I'm about ten or more hours in), I'll probably end up finishing my re-restart of Chrono Cross (I never did get caught back up to when my memory card died at 15 hours in).
Friday we went to NJ for my friend Seth's engagement dinner. It's very eerie that one of my close friends is engaged. Close non-Internet friends. There have been a ton of my friends getting engaged/married lately, but never within my super close circle.
Weirdness. Mike's wedding is this Friday, I hope I can get off work. Naomi's wedding is in a few weeks, but with the fat kitty being so sick lately I don't know if Ember and I can make it (it's in Georgia and we still need to buy plane tickets). And Amber's wedding is mid-October.
I think I'm bored. Also I've lost just over ten pounds since Ember and I started eating healthier and occasionally going to the gym. That's kinda cool. I used to weigh just slightly less back when Ember and I were broken up and I stopped eating dinner almost completely; unless Enid was nice enough to make enough dinner for me.
My friend Chris came Saturday morning. He is the second person to be a guest in our [new] apartment ever since we moved in back in June. Aside from Ember's parents who helped us move. So that was cool. My parents and my brother still want to check it out. I feel bad because I think I'm a terrible host, plus I don't know what other people would want to do around here.
And now Mark wants me to take down the Ginker site (excluding the merch page), while we plan for a new website format (think online store + social community + heavy metal) that was eventually lead to me blowing my brains out while web developing. Yes, web development, which is much different from web designing which I usually prefer to do. I'm not a programmer. The only javascript I know these days is within After Effects expressions. But I can think like a programmer, so I just need to set aside some time (hah, an understatement) and learn perl, php, or something. Fuck, I don't even know what our server supports. Maybe I can look into ruby.
Oh, well. At least I have off tomorrow to think about these things.
Shit, I still have to call Joey about the tattoo shop's website...
