I definitely did not install Starcraft and Broodwar on my MBP Sunday. Absolutely not.
I am not on the eighth Terran mission. I am definitely not super eager to start up the Zerg campaign and the whole Infested Kerrigan thing. Not at all. I have no interest in watching a hero turn completely evil (wait, didn't Blizzard use the same idea in Warcraft 3 with Arthas?).
Do not ask me to play you on b.net. I prefer a single player campaign.
I was gonna look for a no CD patch when I remembered I use a freakin' Mac and can just create a disk image of the CD. I hate listening to (and feeling) the CD drive speed up whenever something happens (music change, voices, etc.) and it drains my battery life.
Surprisingly, it plays amazingly well on this machine, enough though it's being emulated in Rosetta, but then again the original system requirements were a 200 MHz G3 with 32 MB of RAM. I guess a 2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo and 2 GB of RAM is enough to overcome that silly emulation stuff. And, you know, a decade of technological upgrades.
On another note, I still do not have Metroid Prime 3 Corruption.
Yet.
I think f.y.e. gets their games Wednesdays or Thursdays.
Update: Ember bought it for me today as a belated anniversary gift. God I love her.
