So.... raise your hand if you're drunk! I am raising my hand vehemently right now!
Okay that's a lie. I'm using both my hands to type this right now. And surprisingly with very little to no spelling errors. I even spelled vehemently right! Man, look at all the exclamation points in this first paragraph already! Heh, exclamation points almost look like man junk with a shot of man liquids in mid-air. I suppose lowercase "i"s do, too. Uh, moving on.
So on my way out of work [early, by like 5-10 minutes] as I was saying bye/have a good weekend to people, the two remaining graphics guys asked if I was going drinking. "What? Where? Okay."
Since I'm smart (aka whipped) I called Ember. She said she had "to get ready." Sigh. That's the only problem with dating a supermodel, she needs to get "ready" before we go anywhere with people. You know, aside from the fact that random dudes hit on her all the time on the street even when she's not wearing any makeup or anything. Well, she's wearing clothes, of course (you know, she isn't naked all the time like she is on the Internet!). Somehow Ember managed to beat us there. There were five of us, so six with her.
Two graphics guys (three with me), tape dubbing guy, and a girl I've seen around the office. Later on the receptionist and another girl I've seen around joined us. And then later still the receptionist's friend who has the same name as her. There are so many girls at my work with the same name. There are like twenty Sarahs. I can say that name because there's like twenty girls, so I can't possibly get in trouble for that.
Anyway. We both had a lot of fun. I've only gone out with coworkers a handful of times in the six months I've been there, so it's always exciting for me to see them in a different light. And this time it was with a younger crowd which was also exciting (most of the graphics department is older, aside from the random interns I must be the youngest), I felt more comfortable with them and more willing to drink a lot in a short amount of time. Hence, the drunkenness.
Ember was dancing to Kraftwerk's Popcorn (made famous from the wonderful YTMND. I managed to record it with my MacBook Pro, but now she says I'm not allowed to post it to YouTube (or anything else for that matter). So, Internet friends, you should all tell her how much we all want to see it. It's fucking wonderful.
Nevermind, I just conned her into it.
If you're reading this right after I post it, you may have to wait a few minutes for YouTube to process it. Not that it needs to. It's already compressed it to a super high-low-quality h.264 mp4. But noooo YouTube thinks that hiding things in .flv files mean I can't easily download and play it in a multitude of movie players. Well, too bad! I've already easily downloaded and played files and even converted them for my iPod many times.
Oh, in the background you can see the 2007 SG calendar. Which has the beautiful Ember for the month of May, which, coincidentally, is also her birthday month (May 3rd). Maybe that was intentional on SG's behalf though.
