Well, since the day marking the anniversary from which I was spat out into this wretched world is nearly upon us, I've finally been putting serious thought into what the hell to do for it.
My main issue is I have three distinct sets of friends which rarely mingle; my close friends from NJ, my friends from Philly, and my "older" friends I met through Mark. There is a fourth miscellaneous subset including Internet friends and other foreigners, but there's a good chance they can't make it (hey, surprise me!).
Here's the plan that I came up today with Ben (subset: close NJ friends). There's a hibachi restaurant in Philly that sounds good. After dinner we can walk about thirty feet to Dave & Buster's. Yes, the restaurant and D&B's share the same parking lot, which makes this an easy decision (my original choice was going to dinner somewhere in the city and then driving to D&B's).
Why Philly? D&B is there and my Philly friends lack cars. Or their cars are at their parents', several hour(s) away since they started college. I'm under the assumption that my NJ friends will make the drive for D&B.
Now that I'm thinking about this, I don't even remember what I did last year.
Well! After talking about it with some people, Ember spilled the beans. She's been secretly inviting some friends to Dave & Buster's already. Aw. But now she has to tell them about the dinner beforehand, too. But I have a feeling I might have to.
I'm really fucking tired. And excited.
As much as I love my early birthday gift surprise, it's a bit unoriginal since that's what I did for her last year. Except it wasn't a surprise.

Plus I have another surprise for you that you won't know about until the special day is upon us. OHHHH!
