Meanwhile, today at CCFV I had two projects, both for Comcast. The first was to scan and resize a butt-load of photos, which was assumed would take me all day long. I finished it under two hours. Because I fucking rock this world off its axis (which is extremely dangerous, so I try not to do it often).
So I got some lunch and then came back so they could figure out what I should do next.
They did in fact have something for me to do. Dave said that it was stupid and didn't have to look good. In fact, the worse it looks, the better. Obviously my interest was piqued. You can watch the fucking beauty right here.
How and why is this for Comcast?
Good question. It's for Comcast, but not for TV. One of their vice presidents is retiring, so apparently we're (CCFV) making a retirement video, which will include the 70+ photographs I scanned and the baby thing. I'm not sure what the baby thing is supposed to represent, but apparently he's l33t (seriously, the calculator image I was given said it. I don't know if Dave added that himself, or he found it on Google).
And now I am going home. ... Fuck it, I don't feel like rushing.
Tomorrow: Lunch with Valery! Hopefully I won't miss my train again and feel compelled to work through lunch to make up for it. And I believe I will be working on some sort of project involving shoes (all day long women in a variety of shoes have been going in and out of the studio.). I'm pretty sure it's not involving Al Bundy (which depresses me). I think I'll be removing the background of the photos so someone can put them into an animation. In the industry we call it making it keyable.
Saturday-Sunday: Lauren and other Michiganians with roller derby expo thing! And... seeing the ex. We'll see how well that goes.
