Once again, I'm sitting around at work waiting for comments, revisions, and... well, at this point, anything.
The clip I posted the other day got revised when the client realized it didn't match the look of the show (specifically the sky and hills with quilts). "Wow! I totally remembered it differently!" Yeah. Thanks. Good one, Sprout peoples. So a few minutes later I had a new version, but was too lazy to repost it. Until now.
Same rules apply: none of this is my original artwork, all I did was replace footage and reanimate it. Download. Update: Fixed the link! I hate not being able to type HTML!
I also have the "close" version done, but since it's not as interesting to watch as the open (plus I'm waiting for comments on it, so it's bound to change). The open, however, was accepted, therefore: posted.
A couple days ago I posted that Algebra for Students was done. Well, that was a lie. Every several hours of so the producer would ask me for something, always little things, but enough for me to consider my job unfinished. But today the entire series will be finished. I think some of us are going out for drinks tonight. And then in the next week or so will be the "wrap party", which I guess stands for "That's a wrap!" and not like a pita wrap or something. That will be the real party involving lots of people from all the various stages of production, not just post-production.
I hear Dan (originally he *was* the post production, and got moved to another project halfway) will only be there for half of it.
Get it? He left halfway through the production... and he's leaving halfway through the party...? Ugh, I hate you all.
Tomorrow morning I'm dropping off the Ultra Camry at the shop. Since I know people who know people, my car will be worked on first and should be done in a couple hours. I think it's an oil change, replacing front brakes, and the radiator and thermostat are being checked out (you know, since that whole "Why is it overheating? Oh. No oil." thing). The only problem with that is I need to drop it off at 7 am. Saturday is my sleep in day!
At least I'll be up early and bored, so maybe I can force myself to work on the Ashes layout.
Man, I just want to take a nap!
Update: I emailed it to her at about 12:30. She emailed me back at 2:30. I emailed the revised edit back to her at 2:42. Goddamn I love easy changes! Fuckin' Algebra show was never this easy. I wonder if the client will ever watch it today. If they don't, there's no reason for me to be here anymore.
