Hmm, a blog ay? Well if I take some time and really put some effort into a blog and upload pictures and make it personal so perhaps someone will care to get to know me, I'll go 6 weeks with out a single comment/message. So I'll make it quick.
I've been jobless for a month and one week or so. I went to technical school to become a mechanic. I've done nothing but work on cars for 6 or so years now (my last 2 and a half years working on only Mercedes Benz) and I don't want to do it anymore. I'm pretty good and scared because I want to go from a career which is difficult to find a job in to a career which it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find a job in. The only thing I have a real, true passion for is beer. (No not the gettin wasted at a frat party kind of beer.) The world of craft beer can be so interesting and complex. I spend my days reading about beer. I have a pretty extensive knowledge. (I'll sit down and read about yeast for hours)(Because I'm really cool). And I've been brewing my own beer since March. I try and brew as much as possible I of course have SOOO much more to learn, but I feel like I'm moving along nicely. I've made some kind of decent beers.
I have brewed a Bourbon Vanilla Porter, a Milk Stout, and a Pale Ale. My next two batches will be an Oatmeal Stout, and a Russian Style Imperial Stout.
Way excited, I'm so happy on brew days.

sandalgoddess:
I really enjoyed brewing. Love the smell of your kitchen while you are making it.

I was wondering where you had disappeared to.
