When I'm stressed, I read, color, go to my room and daydream, or I resort to little space when my DD is around. All help me to forget the real world for a bit and just resort to a spot or space where I can let go, breathe and honestly be a little girl again.
When I read, it takes me to another world, whether it's fiction, or sci-fi, romance, whatever, I'm transported and I hear nothing else. When I daydream, I dream of the impossible, scenarios where something could or could not happen. But all have a happy outcome for me, cause it's me who dreamed it. Little space, is my time with my Daddy Dom, when he is around and I'm stressed, he feels it and knows, instantly he will say something like "You don't have to worry anymore little one, I'm here." && instantly, I'm in little space and he takes care of me and anything adulty.
All of these things help me, whichever I choose.
