Van: I've got my grandpa's van. The same big brown van that towed my grandparent's big ass trailer all over creation back in the 80's. The downside is that it's got a big old 460 cubic inch engine that provides sub 10mpg gas mileage. The upside is that it's capable of towing our entire apartment building. Don't worry, I'm not going to commute in it or anything. I'm only gonna use it when I need to haul something like motorcycles, scuba gear, our kayak, or a million pounds of lead.
Otters: I got a volunteer position where I'll be able to help rehabilitate otters. Sometimes even good otters go bad. I'll help them with their substance abuse issues and provide them with the skills they need to become positive contributing members of sea otter society. Either that, or I'll clean out their tanks and feed them clams.
Skanky boats: I cleaned a bunch of boat bottoms and repaired a couple of moorings on friday. It's kind of icky. My wetsuit was covered with little squirmy bugs after we cleaned one very neglected boat bottom. I wasn't too thrilled with that part of it but I learned some more stuff about boats and I got paid (not much, but something). I've got to go do it again next saturday. How much I continue to do this sort of thing depends on a combination of factors including: how much student loan and grant money I can get, how much I continue to learn by doing this sort of nasty thing, and whether or not I'm offered any higher paying part time programming work.

E150 = half ton, usually 5 bolt rims
E250 = 3/4 ton, usually 6 bolt rims
E350 = 1 ton, usually 8 bolt rims
E250s sometimes have 8 bolt rims too. Look for the GVRW tag on the driver's side doorjamb, if you can still read it. The combined GVRW should exeed 8,000 lb for a E350.
