Woo hoo, new home has new internet at last!

We're all moved and pretty much settled and I am loving it!

Well I am sitting on a big fat comfy sofa and watching Dr Who series 5, what's not to love?!

So I may be broke and spending far too much of my time comparing prices of bed frames, wardrobes and such (kitchen, bathroom and living room are sorted but the bedroom is currently a pit!) and I may be constantly a contast exhausted mess but life is pretty good. I just need to balance work and fun now, then I'll be sorted!

I did make it out for a bit on Saturday to Kapow comic book convention and sat in on the awesome Q&A with Mark Gatiss. He's a fascinating guy who's done stuff for The League of Gentlemen, Dr Who and the new bbc version of Sherlock Holmes. Fascinating guy!

I've also set myself a couple of challenges for the next year (ish)

1) Ride a horse - they scare me...therefore I should sit on one and stop being a big girly pants!

2) Write a book / collection of short stories - I have a couple of ideas already so it's about time I started putting them down somewhere. I've written a few books when I was about 15-20 but I always ended up deleting them for one reason or another. Anyone got any advice?

Anyways, that's all the non-stuff I''ve been doing. Don't forget this is still in MR:

Squee - Craving

And I almost forgot...has anyone read any of the kids books written by Morpurgo? I saw him give a lecture a while ago and would really like to read something of his but wasn't sure which one to start with. War Horse maybe?

Morpurgo's books are great. Private Peaceful is brilliant, but really, really sad.
