Tomorrow I shall be in Vancouver with Cherry!!
I am very excited for this trip. It should be a blast! I haven't seen Cherry since April and I've missed her quite a lot. This will be a new experience for me since I've never been to that part of Canada before. I am really looking forward to the maple syrup though.
Perhaps I shall see some of you Vancouver SGs and members while I'm up there as well??

In other news...I've decided to join up with a Muggle Quidditch team. Our hope is to become a recognized team within the IQA league. For now, we are just trying to get all our players and equipment together and practice as often as possible. I will have my first practice with them shortly after I return from Canada. I am not yet sure which position I will be placed in, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for Chaser.
If anyone is in the Philadelphia area and might be interested in watching or participating, check out:

I have a few images from this past weekend to share with you guys. For Halloween this year, a bunch of our friends got together and rented out a roller skating rink for a few hours. It was great having the place all to ourselves. I haven't skated in maybe 11 years! Not to brag....but I did friggin awesome! A few laps around the rink was all I needed to remember how to do it correctly. I was zooming by all my friends by the end of the night.
I didn't fall the whole time I was on skates.... but! as soon as I put my regular shoes on, someone across the room yelled out "You guys can take some of this candy home if you want!" So of course, I rushed over to snatch up candy before it was all gone and tripped over my own feet in my excitement and hit the ground pretty hard. Yup...that's irony for ya. So my right knee is banged up pretty bad from that spill.
Ah well....that'll teach me.
Here are the pics:
It took awhile, but we managed to convince Vanessa to try skating...
...annnnd she promptly fell the second she tried to stand up:

Okies...well, I have to go finish packing and get some work done!
