I guess under any ordinary circumstances, last week and this weekend would have been pretty terrible. Despite that, I've been quite happy, which is still something I'm trying to figure out. Anyways, in the last few days:
- I found out my sister is having some rather substantial problems in her life related to eating. Because the internet is evil, I won't expand on them here, but you probably can get the idea. I haven't talked to my sister yet about this, unfortunately, so I only have my mom's side of the story...
- One of my best friends still living in terre haute is leaving for a long time. Looks like he'll be moving back to FL to try to get his life back together and get off of junk for awhile. I'll miss the guy, but he's got to do it.
- Friday I got in the world's most retarded car accident ever. I rear ended some lady at like 1.3 mph.... I was stuck at a stop light, and I thought the light turned green and rolled into her. However, I had the extraordinary misfortune to run into a fucking government vehicle (city), so even though the damange to her car was literally limited to a dent in her bumper, two sherrifs, a fire truck, an ambulance, and a government risk supervisor were called to come save the day. The lady I hit ended up going to the hospital, complaining of possible whiplash (psssh, I've been in bumper car collisions more violent then that wreck). It's funny how quickly you can go from "omg, I'm so sorry.... are you hurt?" to "oh, jesus, you'll be fine. Quit your crying and suck it up, bitch!".
Oh, on the plus side of things, I do get my tables today (yaaay), and I finally met some of the neighbors in my apartment. There are these two younger couples (mid 20's, each has a small child) that live in a 3-bdrm across the hall from us. They're really cool people, and I was pumped to finally meet some cool people in this city (not to say that everyone I met so far wasn't cool, but they happen to live next door to me, so that's different). The story of -how- we met them is interesting, too, but that's something I should probably save for another time...

I need to blame my madness on something, cos it's certainly not my fault!!
