blah, home kind of sucks. I guess I shouldn't be so spoiled by DSL, but dialup is really killing me. Going online at all sucks, because every webpage takes like 20 minutes to load, and getting on aim or sg chat requires an ssh session, which is a world of lag.
-mental note- I need to stop drinking soda. I quit drinking "black" soda like coke, pepsi et al, cos they just started to taste nasty and make me feel bad. So now I'm just drinking "white" soda (har har), but I'm finding it makes me feel ill too.
Speaking of drinks which make you ill, I completely forgot how much liquor my parents have for making drinks and such. I'm so tempted to go up there and sneak a few shots before going to bed and whatnot.
So meh, enough lame blogging shit. Time for some question action:
1. Greatest olympic sport to watch?
2. If you could go back in time to live in another time and place, where would you go?
3. Would you rather know the date or method of your death?
4. Tell an amusing childhood story that you found to be traumatizing when you were small.
Me:
1. Curling, just cos its so damn weird. Either that or luge, cos it's awesome watching people hang on to that shit for dear life.
2. Haite Street [sic?], 1960's, baby.
3. Method. I wanna know how brutal it's gonna be.
4. I was ~7ish and we were at some Museum in Chicago on family vacation. I somehow wandered into an open broom closet, and a janitor saw me peeking around in there and yelled at me.

1. not a big olympic fan. just the usual like gymnastics, track, and skiing I guess.
2. yeah being around for all that hippy stuff in the 60's would be cool. the same time period as my dad: 23 years old in '68
3. neither I'd like a sudden and painless death.
4. where to begin? hehe One of the earliest was of spilling milk when I was about 5. I didn't get in trouble but I remember feeling anxious. Just a random memory that sticks out.
1. I havent watched olympics in years.. I dotn really watch tv, but I like the crazy flips and junk that the gymnasts do...
2. Probably to live with native americans, long before tthe country became invaded... there are a lot of other amazing cultures too... most of them are destroyed now..
3. eeek. I dont really want to know either. I actually would hate to know either. Ive been told a few times by different people that Ill probably die in a car crash because of my luck with cars. Cars and I are like oppisite ends of magnets.. and if I drive one, something insane and wierd will happen. Ive gone through more cars, and had so many wierd things happen... so Im already a little suspicious of cars. But at the same time, if i didnt get into them, I couldnt go to all of the amazing and wonderful places and adventures Ive been on.. I dont want to limit myself, even if it means losing my life someday...
4. The mad minute. I am still traumatized. When I was little.. like 2nd grade, we started this wonderful math thing that taught children how to do math really fast! they'd give you 30 problems and make you answer as many as possible in 1 minute. With the teacher yelling "10 9 8 7 6.." and me franticly panicking. Id have like anxiety attacks and beg my mom not to bring me to school because i was soo terrified of the mad minute. If it wasnt bad enough that I had to do that much math in such a crappy pressure filled way... it was worse because we had to correct each others papers.. the whole class would trade.. then the whole class would have to read each others scores in front of the whole class. I was sooo horrible id usually get a 20. Math isnt my strong point.. i normally get like Cs in math.. but a 20 is just sad. and the whole class would laugh when they read off my score and the teacher would make fun of me! one time she actually dragged me into the hall by my arm and slammed me into the wall and called me stupid in front of the class and made me cry. I hate the mad minute... I hate math hahah.. I hate catholic schools...
man.. i used to drink dr pepper everyday. then i quit all soda for like 3 years.. didnt drink a drop.
