Todays the day, I turn 24! I can no longer utilize Blinks "nobody likes you when you're 23" and I'm kinda sad about it. Now I have to find a new song about being 24 to quote hahaha. Lucky me, I get to spend my whole day working! 3-close at Chipotle, wooooohoooo!! They are the best people and I have no doubt that they're surprising me with something awesome. Probably a quesorito cake. I'm going to be in a food coma.
I have some AMAZING news, I got a new shop in a really amazing tattoo studio. Unfortunately, my boss started the NIX tattoo convention and it falls on the exact same weekend as Rock Fest, and my career is more important to me; so I will no longer be going. SUPER sad about it. Gotta sell my ticket. Anyone going, I'm living vicariously through you!
I did something yesterday that I have wanted to do for a very long time. I suspended. If this is not your cup of tea, please do not read further. If it does genuinely interest you, read on and be amazed.
I did my suspension with the lovely people from Iwascured group, they do suspension performances and demos, and help first timers have the most comfortable and fun experience ever. From the moment I got there, to the moment I left, I felt very supported and welcomed. I did a cannonball suspension, so I had one hook in each knee, and one hook in each shoulder. I curled up into a cute little ball and up I went! I got tossed around, they swung me around, it was so fun! I can't wait to go up again. It was a very enlightening experience, and I cant wait to do it again. I'm going to share some pictures, please if you're not comfortable with the idea of suspension don't torture yourself looking at it. It was a beautiful experience for me. Please be respectful.
