- you know how the fiscal year like starts in july and ends in june, well, i was thinking last night how day and night and morning are like that: when the sun is up it's day, and when it's down it's night, but after midnight it's morning technically but not really until almost sun up it's still night while it's dark and still yesterday not today... somewhere around 3 or 4 it's always morning and tomorrow has become today... although i still look at midnight as the switch... :Surreal:biggrin time is a cruel mistress, however you look at herconfused
- up at 0730, went back to bed until 5 to 8, got up, went online a couple minutes, then off around 830 to moms to run...
and run we didbiggrin

stretched for 10 minutes or so then off to run, here's the times:

so it was 33 minutes total: 8.5 minutes of running, 24.5 minutes walking... not too bad for not running in about 3 years. my brothr and sister totally could have ran like twice as much, easy, but i couldn't. i'll improve though.
then some calistenics: was gonna do 5 sets of 3 exercises, but only did 3 sets of 3... i was pretty beat after the first set:
set 1-30 situps
20 pushups
30 4count flutter kicks
set 2-30 situps
30 seconds plank (or german pushups as chris calls them)- biceps perpendicular to the ground, elbow under shoulders, forearms inline with the body parallel and flat to the ground, back straight, up on the balls of the feet.
30 leg lifts
set 3-30 situps
20 pushups
seal stretch 30 seconds (on your stomach bend your back upward pushing yourself back with the hands)
and that was the morning workout. gonna have to improve alot to get back into shapeblush i said we should skip tomorrow and then just workout friday but my sis reminded me that tomorrow IS friday, so that's that.


i feel REALLY good after working out. clears the senses, makes the body feel alive, clears the sinuses, gets the adrenaline runningbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin i feel REALLY good right now!biggrin

- my legs are gonna feel it tomorrow i'm pretty sure, surely my shins, they're all used up right now so when i walk the balls of my feet slap into the groundtongue i'll have to keep stretching all day so i'm not too stiff tomorrow
- reading the bcb group i'm reminded of when i worked security and it put me in shape...

when i finished high school i was 5'9" and weighed around 190. still had a bit of a gut, but looking back not too bad...
when i started in security 2 years later i weighed around 220 or so, size 40 waist, and had been walking around 4 miles a day, 2 miles to work and back, so days i'd get a ride, some days i'd walk around to shop and hang out, etc, and when i started wroking it was a 2 mile walk to bart, then a 2 mile walk from the bart to work, then at work i'd walk for 30-45 minutes, rest 10-15, and do that for 8-16 hours.... after a year of that i was right around 200 and a 38 waist, still had the gut, but i could stand for hours and walk all day if i had to.

then i got a sitting post at worktongue so i sat for 8-16 hours a day 4 days a week, but still had the walk to bart and home and work, so at least 4 miles a day, and i still walked a whole shirt one day a week...

then i got a car...tongue
and i gained like 20lbs, back to around 230, couldn't fit into 38's and had to get 40's... and that lasted about 6 months until i started walking a regular patrol again at work, and i went back down to just under and around 220, where i stayed for about 3 years, especially after i broke my car.

so that's from 99-04, and in 04 i started working out everyday, pushups and situps and running once a week, and started getting ready to enlist in the army, so i went on the atkins diet, and dropped down to 195 at the lowest, around the summer... then lost my job and moved down south, and sat around jobless, doing nothing, driving everywhere, and by chirstmas i was back around 240+... then started working at the mall, had to stand and squat and bend all day, and in february '05 i started working out everyday, twice a day twice a week, running 2 miles those 2 extra workouts (ones i did with chris; we ran 2 miles, calistenics fro about an hour (5 sets of 3 exercises (starting at 25 reps, or 25 4 count reps, depending on the exercise) + pullups for 3 sets, 20 minutes swim), and then by time on my own, started at 1 minute run and 5 minutes walk for a half hour at a time, then the same calistenics routine as with chris, and by july when i stopped i was runnign 45 minutes, walk 5, then run another 30 and walk 10, then the calistenics (up to 40 count by now, usually did a 50+ count on the last set) and was weighing at 220 (and couldn't wear any shirt smaller than xl cause the large shirts didn't fit my arms or chest anymore)
... then i stopped. i moved in with grandma and couldn't run around the community here, and chris moved so i couldn't go work out with him... so i quit working out and put on some weight again, back around 240... and stayed there until i quit my job last year, and ended up sitting around most of the day, and got to just over 260 around february '08... so i started eating more often and a little better, i feel better, and my pants fit better, but haven't weighed myself wince then so i don't how much if any weight i've lost... i should weigh myself soon...


my workout stuff


- so i showered up and went to moms, dropped my bro to get picked up to go see his gf do some cheer thing, went back to moms, watched the last half of mallrats and ate lasagna then watched like half of porky's, dropped my sis at ballet, hung out with some friendlies at the mall, picked up my sis from ballet, took her home, then me and my sis went to my house and watched greys anatomy, then back to moms, ate a chicken sandwich and watched the fugitive, talked to karen for an hour, finished the fugitive, came home, went online.
- i want to go run tomorrow night too. it's lotsa fun to run at night, when it's cool, just run and listen to the headphonesbiggrin maybe do some weights tomorrow too... we'll see

cashed a check, gassed the car ($47... 89oct@ $3.919 per gallon, damn gas is expensivetongue) made a credit card payment, %15 for minutes on my phone, then home, went online, took a nap for an hour, then red called called, just got a punching bag and spped bag and a combined stand for them, talked a bit then showered and went and hung out with him for an hour or so, then picked up my bro and picked up his freidn and 2 sisters (one is his gf), then back to the house, hung out with all the fam (my other sis' and nieces and nephew were there), went on myspace and loaded 150 or so pictures onto myspace (all the stuff i've made... most of it anyway), ate some taquitos, read some of my book and listened to mp3 player, then went online again for a bit, youtube again, then bro and sisters got home from dance and i went home and changed into workout stuff, my dad texted , then back there and we stretched and ran and exercised

- went to bed at 0145

-saturday-
- woke up at 10 to 8, went online for 15 minutes, changed, off to workout
- i realized last night when i had almost fallen asleep that i didn't take a shower when i got home... so i was laying in bed all dry sweaty still from working outtongue
- so went to moms but forgot they're helping someone move today so i needed to be there at 8 (got there at 9) to have time to run. so we're gonna run tonight again.
went online, watched some of bring it on, showered, dressed, bought a cigar, some dr pepper, a lottery ticket, went to moms, went online, sat out in the sun and heat and smoked my cigar and drank my dr pepper and listened to my mp3 player, tanned my arms and legs for a half hour (helps the psoriasis), put up the umbrella and sat in the shade out in the heat and finished my cigar (drew estates, la vieja habana, ... not sure which one, they had 2 boxes one said connecticut shade and the other said maduro and i got the connecticut, lighter in color and was shorter too, i'll look at the box tomorrow to make sure, but looking online i think it's the rothschild luxo)

finished that, went online a bit again, ate a sandwich (pastrami, chedder and pickles), hung out with the sisters and friends, sat around and shot the shit with my bro's gf, washed dishes for 2 hours, reheated some chicken in the microwave then mixed it with tomatos and lemon, cooked up some onions in butter then added the chicken mixture, rolled me some burritos with the chicken and sour cream and shredded cheese, 2 of those, watched slc punk one and a half times, karen called, drove home, still talking to karen, sat in the car another hour and talked with her

... well, he ex/sorta-not-ex hasn't called her for a week or so after he said he would, he made her dinner and the watched a movie then had sex and when it was time for her to go she left but they were still in bed and he didn't want to stop but she has a curfew and still had homework, so she left and she thinks he's mad at her, and probably is, but said he wasn't and he'd call... well, blah blah you get the point, well she's all hurt he hasn't called but he does this and i keep telling her, everytime she calls and whines taht he hasn't called and she's hurt cause she thought he cares and changed and wanted a real relationship, well i tell her he's a dick and doesn't call for weeks and then calls and is trying to get into her pants the whole time then doesn't call and shit again for a week or two... it just pisses me off a bit that she doesn't see that he's an asshole...

and it got me thinkin about how you can't trust anyone, it's all you, all alone in your head, that's where life happens, all just chemicals in the head, and when you depend on someone else you're gonna get hurt, one way or the other, bad or worse, it's gonna happen, so you can't put your trust into anyone, can't depend on them, do what you have to do for you, so YOU feel good, and if others don't want to help and just want to hinder... fuck 'emmad
