happy turkey day!!!

so here's the shorts i just finished




and 2 pictures before i finished them completely


yeah, i like pockets. i like to carry lots of stuff they've got 2 rear pockets, 2 side pocket, 2 side cargo pockets, 2 front pockets, and then 4 side pockets for specific things (knife, zippo, cigar cutter and torch, flashlight). next time i'm gonna try to put a couple more pockets, and flaps on the rear pockets. a little more planning is in order.
and i need pinking shears, and more thread again. i'm used up most of my thread.

these ended up just a little too tight



these where the first i made. i made them out of 2 old pairs of shorts, and i made them bigger by putting a piece of fabric don the middle in the back. it doesn't look to good, but they're very comfy



these came out better. same as the others (made out 2 pairs of old shorts) but i put the extra fabric down the sides instead of downthe back. these are way comfy too.
i made another pair just like the new red ones out of lipe a grey+white leopard print, with blue sky lining, but they ended up WAY too tight, so i gave them to my lil sis. i forgot to get pics, so i'll have to get them another time. sewing is fun
