Just finished an explication of Howard Nemerov's "The Vacuum" good little poem, actually.
Have the day pretty much off.
Going to get tattooed tonight, that's about it for daily schedule.
I am getting excited about graduating although i am not looking forward to the last winter i'll have to endure up here. I like snow, don't get me wrong, but the sub-zero temps are another story all together.
Am also looking forward to leaving the "scene" behind. Anyone who's spent more than a half hour on Church st. knows what i'm talking about. Wookies and patchouli and crystals. ick. i do like the food selection and would reccomend this town to any college freshman, but i'm ready to tap out. any place gets to you after a while. the men here are all drunk and unwilling to commit-- it's no surprise in a town that's nicknamed "girlington."
Most of the worthwhile people i've met here are women. then again, most worthwhile people are women.

Right !
I believe I'm more than ready to trade my electric blanket for tan lines. The real trade off may be patchouli for Panama Jack, but what the hell.
