..... Came home to a note on the coffee table (why are they called that? We NEVER drink coffee at it.) The thing is made of glass, so when I say note on the table - I mean she took a marker and wrote on the table. It said "We're in the pool."
..... (Thinking - who "We"?). Walked out barefoot to the pool and saw "We" ment Fae and friends and friend of friends. The tall one quickly departed and the girls went back to the apartment to chat and such. I swear I am way too young for the conversation these girls had. *Covers Innocent Ears*
..... I got down on one knee and proposed to Fae ~ "I want to take you to the Olive Garden for dinner." She squeeled. Then "After that, I want to take you to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith." She squeeled higher pitched. Then "But before we do that, I want to take you down the road and buy you a car and a couch." She squeeled in a pitch that I think was audible only to small dogs. I kissed her hand then went back in the living room where the guests sat on the floor and exclaimed "I PROPOSED! And she said "Yes." ... all three times!" - Makes me happy.
..... Soon we were out the door to do as I proposed. Everything was as I said it would be - except the car which has a few kinks to work out. However, it was not as I imagined. Instead of a theater we went to a drive-in (free of charge, thanks to some connections).
MR. and MRS. SMITH ~ highly recommend.
..... Stayed for the 2nd movie ~ didn't watch it entirely. I had to prove I was *Not* too young for the earlier conversation.
..... I love my girl. And I like her - I like being with her and I love spending time with her. I am very lucky indeed. Someday I will realy propose to her.
