Hmm ... 1 month. This is quite possibly my last post (at least until life sorts itself out ... which will not be for at least 2 more months).
Item 1: I am moving. I have been for a while ~ I kind of have the luxury of being welcome at both my "old" home and my "new" home - area - thing. So I have been moving a little at a time to a location about 90 minutes from my old home. Not too bad ... except I don't really have a new home to go to yet. I am still working on getting my job transfered to the area. I am passivly apartment hunting ~ but in the meantime Playful Pixie and Fire Faery have welcomed me in their home 2 to 5 nights a week. I'm using there place as a kind of "storage area" for my stuff ... but my stuff is getting used (with consent). I have been told by Fire Faery that if my job gets transfered before I find a place .... I am encouraged to live with her. I am considering it for a month, perhaps, because I know how the money is working there (its not - well) and I know that including myself in on the split will do everyone some good.
Item 2: Due to so much traveling between my job and my 2 homes ~ I have not had time for .... ANYTHING. I don't really miss it either. I seldom watch T.V. (but will do movies on occasion). Most my meals are take-out or don't exist. I've slept on the thruway several times. I get to a computer - about once a month it seems. No, I take that back. I work 40 hours a week with a computer. I just CAN'T USE IT for personal stuff. Ha ... actually ... I carry around a coloring book to keep me entertained for those 5 to 30 minute periods between tasks and crashing I need to keep myself entertained. The Stable Boy commented on my lack of time:
(I had the hick-ups very badly). "You know - I could try to scare you to get rid of those for ya." "[lol] There's nothing you can do to scare me .... short of telling me I am pregnant." "[snickers] It would scare ME if that were true. Anyway ... I know you don't have time to get pregnant." "[Quizicly] I don't have time to get pregnant? I don't have the 5 minutes of time that it takes to get pregnant?" "[Matter-of-Factly] No. You don't. You are always working ... or driving. Or you are in Buffalo. So unless you have someone in Buffalo ... no, you don't have time to have gotten pregnant." "[Defensivly] And what makes you think that I don't have someone in Buffalo?" "[LoL] Believe me Spotty, I would KNOW if you have someone in Buffalo ... and you do not have someone in Buffalo."
Item 3: I have someone in Buffalo.
My second home keeps me making the commute despite bad weather and no need ... because I have someone in Buffalo and I miss being crazy when I am away too long. I am very much in love and blissfully happy ... and I am very optimistic about our future.
Item 4: My friends in Buffalo (have you guessed yet ... thats my new 2nd home) ... their going through some tuff times and I feel badly for them and wish I could help them. They refuse to take my money (and if the roles were reversed, I would too) ... and both of them are being treated poorly by thier ex's. "They" say that women are the sex whom you have to watch out for .... but these men have done a fine job of pulling the rugs out from under their women. Bottom line ~ Fire Faery has lived in her current apartment for 2 months now and Froggy STILL has her $2k+ worth of furnature and refuses to think about selling her back her own computer. (Except for a few key things which I had to stick my neck out and help rescue ... she's living on stuff I've brought up from home 1). The door to Froggy's home is locked when he is not home ... when he is home and we call to say "We're coming" - he's leaving. And his locks have been changed. As for Playful Pixie ~ her son is the most important thing in the world to her ... of that there is no doubt ..... and her soon-to-be-ex hubby is asking for full custody of their son on the grounds that she is "Engaging in lesbian activities in front of him." That has gone on record now ... which just enfuriates EVERYONE because its petty, offensive .... and most importantly ~ IS NOT TRUE!!! Pixie has requested by all who visit .... friend, family, whatever ... that all Public Displays of Affection are not seen by her son. Also ~ Poor Pixie hasn't been so much as kissed since she left her husband! I feel sorry for the woman!!!! She doesn't have a rebound anything.
(And damn, she does need one).
Item 5: Ick. I have a Birthday coming up.

Someday when I am on my feet and with a stable home, job, and I know where my money is going ~ I will come back. Perhaps I will even post a real picture when I do.
