No matter how I feel today I know today is a HAPPY DAY!
Today 2 of my previously homeless friends get a home! This makes me all kinds of excited because their new home is going to more than likely be my home-away-from-home. In other words: Only my job and my car will see me more than their new-to-them walls.
Which makes me sad .... because now I really need to find homes for Mein Lieblings ~ Rosco and Fresnel. They are the best kitties in the world; they deserve better than I can give them.
Life is throwing a lot at me. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared. Much Chaos. But I am a fan of entropy (as long as it doesn't conflict with my OCD organization) .... I'm just grateful that life waited for my friends to get their home before commencing with this next trial.
But now I *REALLY* need some sleep because after starting work in the still cold and dark hours I plan to take Myst Cricket (packed mildly full of goodies) and hit the road to help welcome my friends to their new home (
Which they've already threatened to call My Harem ). Its a long drive ... and I KNOW I won't sleep ~ and I'll have to return to work the next day.
It's a little depressing ... this Winter Cold and Snow threats ... but I'm still hoping for snow. I really want to have a party!! The first sledable snow this year will trigger a weekend party at my place .... COME! Bring a sled (or not) - bring booze (or not ~ but you really should) ... Drink and Slide with us!! If too many people forget that snow is cold and wet and don't bring something dry to change into ~ I don't think I could stop a naked time by the fireplace
