Ongoing Debate:
Hypothetically ~
If human beings were granted with a 5th (6th) appendage ~ A Tail ~ it would go without saying that each tail, like each person, would be unique. There would be long slender tails and short bob-tails. There'd be bushy tails, long-haired tails, wire tails, and "normal" tails.
It has been argued that if people had tails that all tails should go naked! Thats right ... design the pants to fit around the tail then let it breathe the air (Unless you have a T-shirt which falls over your tail).
It has also been argued that, for cosmetic reasons, a line of "Tail-Sleeves" should be marketed. Designed to be fixed onto the pants to cover whatever tail-type you have. The sleeves themselves can be short, long, covered end or no ... pretty much as diverse as other marketable accessories.
Those who believe in naked tails argue that to market a tail-sleeve would be costly and ineffeceint on our economy. There simply would not be enough profit due to the very large diversity of tails and tastes. "Tail-Sleeves" should be looked down on in society ~ and a Naked Tail is a mark of individuality (because no two tails are exactly the same anyway).
However those who encourage the "Tail-Sleeves" remind those who promote a Nation for Naked Tails that everyone has the right to NOT wear one. Like socks or a T-Shirt ... the sleeve itself would not be a part of another article of clothing, but a seperate piece. Making them would be simple and inexpensive and it is in the economy's best interest to explore every potential for a marketable product. They say "Hey - [fassion industries] can make 1,003 different "Small Black Purses that go with Everything", why couldn't they make sleeves ranging in size (Slender to extra bushy), length, and pattern?"
So - what side are you on?
Nation for Naked Tails ~ or ~ Society for Tail Sleeves
Hey - this could be the next biggest political debate!

especially with my temper... i'd have the claw out and be whipping my tail around just waiting for stupid people to remember to tell the security guard about that prince albert they got 4 years ago... i would kill people, and that would be bad.

Some of the people they have in those airports ... Are you sure that killing them would be bad?
