I habe been a bad SG member. Despite being a member for months, I have never written a journal. I just enjoy looking at the beautiful ladies too much. Is that so wrong? So, I hereny resolve to try to be more active in this community.
I don't have that much to give, though. I'm here in Berkeley, a far strectch from Florida, and going to law school. I want to get into Environmental Law, and work to save the Earth. More and more, though, I'm beginning to thin the best way to change things is to work outside the law.
It's beginning to seem to me that the only way to bring about the changes really needed in this country is a revolution. Every day that mgoes by, there is another event to bring us closer and closer to a state that I am ashamed my country would ever be in.
The United States is a great country, at least as far as the ideal of freedom go. BUt the dichotomy between the rich and poor has grown too great in this country, and the administration, rather than fixing the problem, has only served to make it worse.
I am beginning to think that He must be killed. But with only a few years left, is there a point? John Roberts, now there's a target. HE has a good 30 years of influence, and his mystery is an evil thing. I mean, who is against civil rights for all? John Roberts, that's who.
I could go on and on, but the point is, something needs to happen. If we keep going in the same direction for three more years, the country will be a very different place. Most people on this site will need to move to Canada or MExico to enjoy the freedoms we have now.
The administration is asking us to follow them based on faith--support without proof. For thoseof us who reject religion, who want to question everything and won;t believe in anything withough some proof, this is understandably problematic.
