Support Indie Horror this weekend
Hey ghouls
As a writer for www.Bloody-Disgusting.com I get asked (pretty frequently) what good horror movies are out, or what good ones I have seen. The standard issue answer lately is Inside and .Rec (which has been remade as Quarantine.) So for Horror fans this is a good week! Inside just hit the DVD stands and this weekend we have 2 worthy horror flicks to check out, Zombie Strippers and Pathology.
First up is Pathology, which stars my buddy Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes about a forensic student who is brought into a murderous game of secrets. Similar in theme to Flatliners, but with a nasty edge that Flatliners never came close to. Good sex scenes, nasty and violent gore, and Alissa Milano gets naked..sort of. How can you go wrong?
Second is Zombie Strippers opening in limited theaters this weekend. Jenna Jameson is the queen of the zombie strippers in a nightclub owned by Robert Englund. Now this one you have to take for what it is. Stripping zombies in a politically charged script (really) that delivers exactly what you should expect from the name and cast involved. While it's not a great film it certainly is original and unique.
It really depends on you mood and tastes in films to decide which one of these to see, but I say see them both then run to the DVD store and pick up Inside.
See you at the movies
