Weekly Wrap-up
(this should have been a daily blog..but I just got busysorry)
I was interviewed by Paul McCavoy for his horror documentary called Into The Dark. It's a weird thing being on camera and being un-prepped for questions you ultimately answer from the heart, but then afterwards feel like you forgot stuff you should have said. But the interview went over great, Staci Layne Wilson and Jeffrey Reddick were both here as well getting interviewed, at my housewoohoo no need to leave. Oh and a special thanks to Paula Burr for swinging by and snapping some photos for us.
During the middle of the interview my phone rang and it was Wes Bentley (from American Beauty) calling to talk about P2. I didn't love the film, so it was not the best interview I have ever done, but he seems like a nice dude and I did get him to open up about some stuff. After that I Paula and I borrowed a copy of Storm Warning from Ryan Rotten. Its not a terrible film, but I can't say that I would recommend it. The problem I had with it was that it took about an hour to get going and when it finally got good I was on the phone and could have cared less about the characters.
Covered the Red Carpet for The Ruins! Go see it!! I got a scoop from Ben Stiller saying that Night at The Museum 2 is going for a "Hard R rating"check out my videos to see this.
On Friday I went to Amalgamated pixels to get a first hand look at the Alien vs. Predator FX, went pretty coolpictures to come We played hooky from work for a while and stopped by Hot TopicI didn't buy any clothing (surprise) but I did get 3 new Cd's, The Latest from The HorrorPops, The new Muse Live Cd, and a Metropolis Records compilation.. YOU should buy them all! After a long day, went bowling with my friends, and went home and watched a shitty kids film. Actually it wasn't entirely shitty, I just wanted a mindless film, and those lovable chipmunks delivered the mindless
Saturday was another whirlwind of stuff, most of which I didn't make it to (like the Hyaena gallery opening, and the backyard screening of Predator.. damnit!) But I did get to a party at my friend Misty's place, and the off to see my buddies band THE TELL TALE HEARTBREAKERS play at Bar sinister (expect a blog about bar sinister later this week).
The Band was great, they have grown so much over the past couple years, and put on a kick ass show! Home to the Hot Tub.
